Project Role Description: We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3–6 years of experience to work as a Business Analyst in a financial systems/project environment. The candidate will act as a bridge between finance stakeholders and the technology team to ensure accurate implementation of financial processes such as GST, TDS, TCS, accounting, voucher management, and financial reporting. The role requires strong functional finance knowledge, process documentation skills, and the ability to clearly communicate requirements in English and Punjabi.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Process Analysis

• Analyze and document business processes related to GST, TDS, TCS, accounting, voucher processing, balance sheet preparation, and cash flow management.
• Understand existing accounting workflows and translate them into functional requirements for technology teams.
• Ensure compliance with Indian taxation and accounting regulations.

Business Analysis & Documentation

• Create process flows, use cases, and functional requirement documents (FRD).
• Prepare process diagrams, workflow documentation, and SOPs.
• Document requirements and flows clearly in Microsoft Word and other documentation tools.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with finance teams, project managers, and developers to ensure correct implementation of financial requirements.
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions and workshops with business users.
• Support testing and validation of financial modules.

Testing & Validation

• Participate in functional testing and UAT of financial modules.
• Validate outputs such as financial statements, reports, tax calculations, and accounting entries.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 3–6 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, or finance-related IT/ERP projects.
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, TCS, accounting entries, vouchers, balance sheet preparation, and cash flow statements.

Required Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design and document business process flows.
• Experience creating functional documentation in Microsoft Word.
• Good understanding of accounting systems or ERP platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Punjabi.
• Ability to interact with both business users and technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working on finance transformation or ERP implementation projects.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance requirements in India.
• Knowledge of process flow tools (Visio, Draw.io, Lucidchart, etc.).
