Job Description

Project Role Description: We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Architect with 5–10 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions. The candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud environments across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms. The role requires strong knowledge of cloud provisioning, cloud security, CI/CD pipelines, and modern cloud architecture practices, along with the ability to work with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Architecture & Design

• Design end-to-end cloud architecture solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
• Define cloud architecture patterns for scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services and deployment models.

Cloud Provisioning & Infrastructure

• Design and oversee cloud infrastructure provisioning using automation and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Support provisioning of compute, storage, networking, and database services in the cloud.
• Ensure efficient resource utilization and cost optimization.

DevOps & CI/CD Enablement

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery in cloud environments.
• Support containerization and microservices-based deployment architectures where required.

Cloud Security & Governance

• Implement cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Define governance frameworks for secure cloud deployments.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to define solution architecture.
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture designs and solution blueprints.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Documentation & Best Practices

• Prepare architecture diagrams, solution documents, and technical specifications.
• Maintain documentation for architecture standards, deployment models, and operational procedures.
• Promote best practices in cloud architecture and DevOps adoption.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in IT with significant exposure to cloud technologies and architecture.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of Cloud Computing concepts including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Experience with cloud provisioning and infrastructure design.
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of cloud security frameworks and best practices.
• Ability to design scalable and secure cloud architectures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Experience with microservices-based architecture.
